Photo, Video & Media Consent Policy

At Be The 1 Academy, we love celebrating our athletes — the progress they make, the confidence they build, and the moments that happen on the court. Because so much of what makes our program special shows up best in photos and video, we regularly capture training sessions, games, and events to share with our community and to help other families understand what we do.

When you register your athlete for a free session, a team, or any Be The 1 Academy program, you are giving us permission, as the parent or legal guardian, to photograph, film, or record your athlete while they participate. This may include candid shots during drills, video clips from small-sided games, coach feedback moments, and testimonials shared by you or your athlete about your experience with us.

We may use these photos, videos, names, and testimonials across our website, social media accounts (including Instagram and Facebook), email newsletters, printed materials, advertising, and other promotional content, whether that content is created by us or by a marketing partner working on our behalf. This consent applies without any expectation of payment or compensation, and it remains in effect unless you notify us otherwise in writing.

We take reasonable care in how we use these materials, and we do not sell or license your athlete's name, image, or likeness to third parties outside of our own marketing and promotional efforts. If at any point you would prefer that your athlete not appear in future content, or you would like existing content removed, simply reach out to us at [email protected] and we will honor that request going forward.

This online consent works alongside, and does not replace, any liability waiver or additional paperwork signed in person at our gym. Both are part of how we keep our program running safely and transparently for every family who trains with us.

By submitting a registration form on this website, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy on behalf of yourself and the athlete you are registering.
